October 15: Studio Report No.14 & Gig in 013
2 days ago there`s was again a studio session.. only this time we didn`t do much :).. I only recorded second guitars on 1 song and we tryed some things out. Some plans are changed.. first Bas Vriens (ex-The Nobodies) will work further on the drums to make them more kickass! :) and then I will lay down my last guitar parts. And now some System Flatline news: We gonna play in the 013!! check the SF website to see how you can get tickets.. and offcourse you can get the tickets via me.. that`s all :) Rock On!


September 24: Studio Report No.13
Yeah! During the last night`s studio session I finally finished all the rhythm guitars for the 13 songs and also all the rhythm guitars are doubled for a better sound. The next thing to do is the recording of lead/melody guitars and I will start with it as soon as I have worked them out. August 19: Summer Break
As you might have noticed, the last studio session of 14th July has been cancelled and right now there are no recordings becouse of the summer holidays. The recordings will start again somewhere in mid- or end-september when I come back from my holiday :P. In the meantime I`m working on a new rock/metal festival together with PW (System Flatline singer) and we got some nice bands for ya to rock to. July 05: Studio Report No.12 & System Flatline pics!
Yesterday`s recordings session went pretty well. All the clean rhythm guitars are now recorded and I think we will finish all the rest of (distortion) rhythm guitars in the next week`s session. And then there will be a summer-break in recordings becouse of the holidays. That will give me the chance to work out & improve the guitarsolo`s and melody guitars and also to check out some singers. June 24: Studio Report No.11
Yesterday, damn what a hot summer day :P, I did again some recordings. The rhythm guitar parts are almost finished, I think in one or 2 sessions it will be finito :).. Yesterday I recorded rhythm guitars on 3 songs and also doubled it for a better sound. Tony (the studio wizzard) will be later adding some keyboards parts on some of the songs, but more about that in the future. Enjoy your summer bastards :P


June 10: Studio Report No.10 + WME-Rocks.com Radio
After a break, yesterday I started again with the studio sessions. I`m still working hard on the guitar parts and last night we completed the rhythm guitar on 2 songs and also doubled those guitar parts for a nice fat sound. And now something else: Tequila has been played on WME-Rocks.com radio on June 8 in the weekly live show of Marijn and Eik! So I wanna thank those dudes for playing the track! May 10: Studio Report No.9
Yesterday`s studio session was one of the most productive till now. First we spend some time to find the right amp set-up and then started recording. I have recorded rhythm guitar on 3 songs and also dubbled those tracks for a better sound ...and Mr. Nermin :) has recorded almost one hour of video footage so a video for the site is coming soon!


May 06: System Flatline
Yeah! :) I have joined the local band System Flatline. I`ve been asked by Sven und Jeroen to join the band and last sunday I went to their rehearsele to check it out and after that decided to join them. This band with the new singer "PW" kicks ass. Check it out at www.systemflatline.com. And btw the last recording session for the BB album has been cacelled & moved to the next following Monday 9th May.


April 27: NCRV/Ongekendtalent Top 40
Last two weeks two Black Bullet songs were in the NCRV & Ongekendtalent charts. The songs made it into the top 5 at the same time! "Tequila" peaked at 3th place and "Hot As Fire" at 4th on the same day. That means that songs will be played by Ongekendtalent Radio. I want to thank everyone who voted and kept voting every day! You all know who you are ;).. so thank you very very much! ..and keep rocking.


April 20: Studio Report No.8
Last night I finally started with the recordings of the guitar-tracks, and this will be very diffrent than on the demo and it will probably take the most time during the recording sessions. On almost every songs there will be 2 guitars on it playing. A rhythm and lead guitar and if the song needs it the rhythm guitar will be recorded twice to get that fat/thick sound. Yesterday we`ve recorded some clean-rhythm guitars on 3 songs and next week om 28th of April we will continue with the recordings.


April 12: Studio Report No.7
The bass-recordings are completed! :) Yesterday we recorded the bass on the last two songs, unfortunately the recording of "Hot As Fire" is lost so that means it won`t be re-recorded for the album but with 13 songs left there`s more than enough work to do. So now it`s time to record the guitars and that starts next week, also from now on we`ll be making some video footage now and then during the studio sessions! And you can expect to see some of those video`s right here at BLACKBULLETMUSIC.com.. so stay tuned & rock on!


April 01: Studio Report No.6
Last night we`ve recorded bass on another 4 tracks, everything went really good and I hope to finish all the basstracks in the next studio session. We did yesterday also alot effects-tryouts to find something special and altough I`m not a big fan of using alot effects I have to say that we`ve tried a few effects out that really add something to the sound without losing the "raw" edge.. so I believie this will work out just fine.. that`s all for now.. rock on!


March 22: Studio Report No.5
The recordings of the album are now one step further because yesterday we`ve finished the drumtracks for all the songs that I`m working on and also the bass is recorded on 3 more songs. The next sessions is planned for the next week and I can`t wait... :) also this little news: So What (Tony`s cover band, Tony is the man who`s recording/mixing the Black Bullet album) will be playing on Springpop in Kruisland this Friday with Golden Earing.. Check that out!


March 11: Studio Report No.4
The recordings of the bass-tracks started yesterday in the 4th studio session. This time I`m also playing the bassguitar during the recordings and last night we`ve recorded bass on 4 tracks and it all went pretty good. The next session is planned on Monday, March 21.


March 01: New website online

February 17: Studio Report No.3
Just got back from the studio and tonight we`ve recorded 3 more drumtracks and aslo a lot of testing has been done with the guitar amp.. lot of try-outs of diffrent amp-settings to find the right bonecrushing sound! One drumtrack is left to be recorded so in total I`m working on 12 new Black Bullet songs and Tequila & Hot As Fire of the demo will be re-recorded for the album.


February 10: Studio Report No.2
Yesterday it was the time for the second studio session and it went pretty well!. 5 more drumtracks were recorded, among those also a cover from Guns N Roses: Used to love her (But I had to kill her).. great title huh? :). You can always check the Gigs page to see more details of the studio sessions. The next session is planned for the next week on 17th February. Also the moving & improving of the new website is almost finished and it will be online soon! Rock on!


January 18: Studio Report No.1
Last night I finally started with the recordings for the BB album. In the first studio session the drumtracks for 3 songs were recorded. You can see more details on the studio sessions on the Gig-page and watch the progress of the recordings. Next session is planed for the 3th of February.
